“Sea at Night” -DoP Jens Schaffner is nominated for “Best Cinematography” at “The Victoria TX Independent Film Festival 2019”! The film will be screened on 05.04. at 12 o’clock (local time) in the block “Dramatic Shorts” at the Rosebud Records Theater in Victoria (USA). The decision on the winners will be made on Sunday (07.04.)!
On Saturday, the 6th of April, “Sea at Night” will be screened at the “Riverside Short Film Festival 2019” in New Haven (USA)! Our film will be shown in the movie Set 2 at 6pm (local time) at the historic Walt Theater! We look forward to this opportunity and are curious to see if we can get an award home!

“Sea at Night” (Meer bei Nacht) is among the selected productions at the “Dumbo Film Festival” 2019 in New York City! We were able to prevail over 350 submitted films from over 40 countries. The decision on the nominations for the awards already falls on 10.03.! Stay tuned!
We can look forward to a festival invitation for the “AURORA International Film Festival” in the category “Best Woman-Directed Film”! The winners will be announced on 21.03. in Berlin!

“Meer bei Nacht” won in all 5 nominated categories! We have received awards for “Best Drama Short”, “Best Director Female” (Kim Fabienne Hertinger), “Best Acting Ensemble” (Peter Kotthaus, Laura Bettinger, David Steffen, Monika Schiefer) and “Best Trailer / Teaser” (Carmen Schmitt) In addition, our film has won the main category “Best Foreign Language Short” out of all submitted international productions!

Another festival invitation for “Sea at Night”! This time it’s off to Cyprus. There our film is running at the “International Motion Festival, Cyprus 2019” in the program “Short & Sweet”! The festival will take place from 6 to 9 May 19 in Nicosia.
